Artist's Description

A very long evolutionary process directed this composition. It began as an abstract sketch I drew while listening to meditation music. That drawing of intertwined circles was sketch on a canvas, after which the curves were connected and continued throughout the three canvases. Later the flowers and birds grew out of these curved lines, and then the cohesive composition was crafted. It depicts the parent birds waiting above for the young bird to take its first flight. When it's clear that the young bird isn't ready the parents conjure up a wind and the flowers and leaves begin to swirl, lifting the little bird from it's nest. It is painted in the style Curvismo, developed by Ricardo Chavez Mendez.
