Description
Beginning with a charcoal sketch of a nude woman done by deceased artist Brandon Crotty I created the first of four panels. In it the woman is being lifted in spirit by the man near her as they both float in preparation for summer. In the second panel the two are resting as everything around them is in fast motion, blooming, growing and developing, as are they. The third panel brings us to fall, or a time when things begin to slow and lose color, but the couple becomes playful as they swing on the pine cone and drag their feet in the water below. In winter the world around has begun to freeze and still, and the couple waits for the thaw. The woman looks ahead wondering what life will bring at this stage.
